Sonangol increases its storage capacities

Sonangol has added four tanks of 600m³ each to the already existing eight tanks at its fuel storage facility in Lubango.

This allows the company to increase the throughput from 5.000³ to 15.000 m³ to meet the growing demand of fuel in the province of Huila. In order to improve the situation with fuel supply in the region, Sonangol is additionally building the storage facilities in the Mutundo area, near the city of Lubango. The facility will be built on the site of 178 ha and will allow to store more than 7.600 m³ in each tank.
