Shrieve Chemical Acquires Connection Chemical

November 13, 2024 [Chem Analyst]- Shrieve Chemical Company, a leading value-added chemicals distributor, has acquired Connection Chemical, a full-service distributor of industrial chemicals and fine ingredients. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Connection has established itself as a trusted partner for customers and suppliers across North America. The company boasts stocking locations throughout the US, deep-draft storage tanks, and in-house logistics capabilities, seamlessly connecting clients to the global chemical market. Their expertise and global relationships enable them to offer dynamic supply chain solutions and consistent value.

This acquisition brings significant benefits to both Shrieve and Connection. It broadens Shrieve’s product portfolio and enhances its global sourcing capabilities. Shrieve strategically extends existing product lines to Connection’s customer base while introducing Connection’s offerings to Shrieve’s established and new clients.

Connection in turn will benefit from Shrieve’s global reach, allowing it to deliver a consistent supply of high-quality products to customers across North America.
