December 21, 2015 [Romania Insider] - Romanian oil & gas company OMV Petrom has completed the revamping of the fuel terminal in Cluj-Napoca, in north-western Romania.

The investment amounted to EUR 18 million and was part of the group’s strategy to upgrade its storage infrastructure.

The company has built three new warehouses in Jilava, Brazi, and Isalnita and modernized another deposit in Bacau. The total investments made in the past six years have reached EUR 125 million.

The oil products in the Cluj-Napoca terminal are stored in reservoirs above ground that have a total storage capacity of 22,000 cubic meters.

The five storage capacities that OMV Petrom has built or modernized have a total capacity of 87,000 cubic meters. The company plans to continue this program by modernizing another terminal.
