PetroChina Nanbao-1 oilfield terminal starts operations

Nanbao-1 oilfield onshore receiving terminal, the largest oil and gas processing unit of PetroChina's Jidong Oilfield Company, has started formal operation in mid-November, the company newspaper China Petroleum Daily reported Monday.

The processing unit is to conduct primary process, storage and transportation of crude oil and natural gas from the oilfield.
The terminal is equipped with a 1.8-million-tonne/year crude oil dehydration device, a similar device to process 1.35-million-cu.m of natural gas a year and a 200,000-cu.m of crude oil storage facility.
Nanbao oilfield is located in Caofeidian of North China’s Hebei province. It has a proven crude oil reserve of 405.1 million tonnes and a 111.63 million tonnes of natural gas reserve in oil equivalence.
