KN Energies Offers Invitation to Submit Requests for Klaipėda LNG Terminal

July 23, 2026 [Tank Storage Magazine]- KN Energies, Klaipėda LNG terminal’s operator, has offered additional invitation to submit requests after reviewing the results of its 2027 Klaipėda LNG terminal capacity allocation procedure.

 

As part of the invitation, market participants can submit requests for allocation including regasification, LNG reloading, or a combination of the two. After receiving the requests, the operator will assess the technical feasibility of the results before making a final decision.

For capacity, KN Energies states: ‘For the 2027 terminal gas year, the total volume of allocated capacity amounts to 5 billion kWh, corresponding to 5 conventional cargoes, each consisting of not less than 1 billion kWh of natural gas expressed in energy units.’

The invitation window is open from 22 July 2026-7 August 2026.
