CLH opens its new storage facility on the 2nd of December

CLH (La Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos ) is progressing with the construction works at its new storage facility at the port of Mahon in Menorca.

The company plans to relocate its current storage activities from the Cala Figuera facility built in 1957 to the new Mahon storage terminal. Once the new storage facility is completed, the Cala Figuera installation will be dismantled. The transfer of Cala Figuera facilites will improve the supply of petroleum products in Menorca.
Building of a new facility required a total investment of 22 million euro and almost two years of work. The new terminal includes 12 tanks with a of total 28.920 m3 built near the airport, a pumping station and a 5.3 km pipeline connecting the tanks with the port’s infrastracture.
