The facility will have enough capacity to serve the local market as well as any growth from higher blending ratios or increased biofuel injections into the product pipeline system. The terminal will facilitate rail access on the Canadian National Railroad to rapidly deliver biodiesel and ethanol. The company will provide full-load delivery and splash blending of both ethanol and biodiesel and will customize service for customer needs.
With the addition of the Collins terminal, Blendstar will have an annual throughput capacity of more than 350 million gallons.
