Croatia's Janaf Signs Storage Deals with BP, Lukoil

January 3, 2022 [SeeNews] – Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf [ZSE: JNAF] on Wednesday said it has extended its contract for crude oil storage with UK’s BP Oil International and signed a new deal for storage of oil products with the local unit of Russia’s Lukoil.

 

The contract with BP Oil International was extended by a year – from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, Janaf said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

The new deal with Lukoil Croatia will be valid for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023.

Croatia’s ministry of state assets controls 52% of Janaf’s share capital, the government’s centre for enterprise restructuring and privatisation, CERP, owns 26%, and oil and gas company INA [ZSE: INA] has a 12% stake.

Janaf operates terminals for crude oil and oil products located on the island of Krk, as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak.

Janaf’s shares last traded on Monday when they closed flat at 5,000 kuna ($751/665 euro), bourse data showed.
