VTTI Kenya Receives OTS Cargo
07.21.2015 - NEWS

July 21, 2015 [VTTI] - VTTI Kenya continues to grow its impact on the oil industry landscape here.

In June, it was a significant moment when the vessel MT Hafnia Europeberthed for discharge at our terminal.

Fiona Kantai comments: “This cargo was specially nominated for our terminal through the Kenya Government-controlled Open Tender System (OTS). The system is usually reserved for cargoes destined for government controlled facilities used by all oil marketing companies (OMCs) in Kenya. Choosing our terminal was an important indication of their confidence.”

The 78,000 m3 cargo was the largest we have received at VTTI Kenya and required almost all our capacity.
