When fully operational, the terminal will have 65,000 m3 of storage available for clean products and will be one of the largest and most modern oil facilities in East Africa.
Mr Ian Taylor, Chief Executive of the Vitol Group, speaking about the award, said “We are pleased with the outcome of this bid process and we look forward to completing the terminal, for the benefit of consumers in Kenya and neighbouring countries, as well as for our customers.
