The Largest Tank Storage Event for the Middle East and Africa Regions is Rebranding

May 20, 2016 [Easyfairs] - Easyfairs, the fastest growing trade show organiser in the bulk liquid storage sector, has announced that Tank World Expo will now be officially known as StocExpo Middle East Africa.

StocExpo Middle East Africa (formerly Tank World Expo), has under gone a rebrand in order to align itself with Easyfairs’ current portfolio of tank storage events and to capitalise on the reputation of the StocExpo brand within the sector. The event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 26 & 27 April 2017, opening its doors to suppliers and key decision-makers from across the region.

Easyfairs acquired Tank World Expo in April 2015, in a strategic move to answer the industry’s demand for a large scale tank storage event focusing on the Middle East and Africa. It then merged it with Tank Storage Middle East to create the region’s only dedicated event of its kind. The final stage of this acquisition was to bring the show in-line with the rest of the portfolio brands.

Nick Powell, Event Manager of Easyfairs’ Tank Storage portfolio explains the reasons behind the rebrand: “I am thrilled to announce that Tank World Expo will now be called StocExpo Middle East Africa. It has always been our ambition to do this, with as little disruption to our exhibitors and visitors as possible, and now seemed to be the perfect time to do so. After a really successful Dubai event, we just wanted to reaffirm our commitment to the industry.

“The Middle East and African storage sector is experiencing exponential growth at the moment, and it doesn’t look like it will be slowing down any time soon, which is fantastic for us and those working within it. We already attract the best and brightest from the tank storage world, but we have big plans for this show and growth is firmly on our agenda. It is great that our portfolio of events, which spread across the key bulk liquid storage hubs of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Singapore, Dubai, Hamburg and Shanghai, is universally recognised, and launching StocExpo Middle East Africa was key to our growth. These are exciting times, so stay tuned for more information.”

The news of the rebrand has been well received by exhibitors, with major companies flocking to sign up for the 2017 show. Names on board already include Emco Wheaton, Loadtec Engineered Systems, Mascoat, CTS, Verwater Shanfari International LLC, Protego and Kanon Loading Equipment to name just a few.

Craig Garbutt, Group Operations Manager at Horizon Terminals Limited has been quick to show support for the show, saying: “StocExpo Middle East Africa (formerly Tank World Expo), has fast become the most significant dedicated tank storage event in the region. A good mix of conference and trade expo that provides excellent networking opportunities with our peers and service providers.”
