April 17, 2024 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Stolthaven Terminals has proudly announced the official opening of their state-of-the-art jetty at their Dagenham, UK terminal. The occasion was celebrated with a special opening ceremony, attended by esteemed guests, project partners, as well as current and former colleagues.

Adhering to their strict safety protocols, the new jetty was briefly closed for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, allowing guests to witness the impressive structure up close. This new facility is expected to enhance discharge rates and turnaround times for vessels, while also providing upgraded infrastructure, improving safety measures, reducing environmental impact, and ultimately delivering an exceptional service to customers.

Guy Bessant, president of Stolthaven Terminals, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the ceremony marked another significant milestone in the redevelopment of Stolthaven Dagenham. Over the past decade, the company has made substantial investments in upgrading existing infrastructure and constructing new assets. The construction of the jetty, in particular, presented numerous challenges, making it a remarkable achievement for the Stolthaven team and their partners who worked diligently to build the new structure while ensuring uninterrupted operations for their valued customers.
