May 19, 2011 [HCB] - Simon Storage has expanded its owned tank capacity in the UK, buying two high-spec tanks from Pan American Sulphur Co, located on land adjacent to Simon's Immingham East terminal.

Simon has recently been leasing the tanks to store sulphuric acid and heavy fuel oil for two of its existing customers. It plans to modify the tanks as required to handle a range of other products. The acquisition adds another 23,100 m of owned capacity at the two Immingham terminals, which have a combined capacity of some 623,000 m.
