August 25, 2014 [OPIS] - LiquidTitan has announced that it is putting its transmix and transloading terminal on the sales block.

The owners of the facility in a sale announcement tout the strategic location of the facility which allows for round trips trucking to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and entry to Mexico in the same day.

There is room for 12 railcars at the rail terminal, and 657 feet of spur lines at the facility.

Transmix processing at the LiquidTitan facility stands at 4,500 b/d based on historic processing rates, the company says. Transmix facilities have the ability to generate RINs, and some public companies that have transmix facilities in the past have talked about RINs generation in quarterly reports.

There is also more than 2 million gallons (47,619 bbl) of storage at the terminal.

There is also used motor oil processing (filtration and dehydration) of 900,000 gallons/month based on historical rates at the LiquidTitan Plant.

The facility is being offered for sale through a sealed bid sale. The due date for bids is Oct. 24.
