ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp Begins with Construction of Phase-II

February 20, 2015 [ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp N.V.] - With this expansion ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp will have a capacity of 155,000 cbm for the storage of chemicals and gasses.


The new storage capacity, comprising low-pressure mild and stainless steel tanks, will be commissioned in 2016.

The project includes adding two new ship docks and one barge dock to the facility. After the expansion, ITC Rubis will have four ship docks and three barge docks, providing customers with excellent marine facilities and abundant dock capacity.

ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp has land available to expand the terminal in the future to a total of up to 800,000 cubic meters for further chemical, petroleum and gas storage.

“This expansion is a response to our customers’ needs, and moves ITC Rubis to the next level in providing excellent terminal services in the Port of Antwerp”, said Mr. Pascal De Maeijer, CEO of ITC Rubis.

ITC Rubis’ Chairman, Mr. Robert Kantyka comments: “Shareholders are very excited about this further expansion of our terminal business”.
