Filling of Primorsk-Vysotsk Pipeline with Diesel Fuel Commenced

February 18, 2016 [PortNews IAA] - Filling of the new pipeline linking port Primorsk (Leningrad Region) with export terminal RPK-Vysotsk-Lukoil-II (Leningrad Region) commenced on February 17, 2016. All the documents between Transneft and Lukoil have been signed recently, a source close to Transneft - Port Primorsk LLC told IAA PortNews.


According to a different source, the filling started at 19:25, Moscow time. 

IAA PortNews earlier said that launching of the pipeline with annual capacity of 3 mln t of diesel fuel (with a possibility to be expanded to 3 mln t per year) was expected in November 2015.

Total volume of oil products shipped from RPK Vysotsk “LUKOIL-II» in 2015 decreased by 8.6% year-on-year to about 11 million tonnes. Statistics shows that oil product exports reached 10.75 million tonnes, coastal traffic volume was 290,000 tonnes.
