EU approves Vitol to buy Petroplus Refining Facilities

December 11, 2009 [Dow Jones Newswires] - The European Commission Thursday cleared Dutch oil and gas company Vitol Holding BV to acquire two refining facilities in Belgium.

Vitol Holding’s Belgian unit Eurotank Belgium BV will take over Petroplus Refining Antwerp NV and Petroplus Refining Antwerp Bitumen NV, active in the production of bitumen, gas-oil desulphurization and the operation of a storage terminal.
