Buckeye to Shut Eldorado Terminal Temporarily in Mach for Upgrading
02.15.2012 - NEWS

February 15, 2012 [OPIS] - Buckeye Pipeline said on Tuesday that it will shut its Eldorado Terminal along the Laurel Line for four consecutive days around March 22-23 for meter upgrade work.

Eldorado terminal is near Altoona, east of Pittsburgh. This shutdown will have an impact on the 081 distillate cycle, which will be delivered to the Eldorado area during that time period.

Without knowing the exact composition of the linefill at that particular time, Buckeye advises terminals/shippers to have a buffer of inventory available as the 072 gas cycle and 081 distillate cycle delivers in the Pittsburgh area.

Buckeye will open to Eldorado on the arrival of the 081 ULSD and deliver a volume that will supply the terminal for the four days of work.
