March 18, 2011 [The Freeport News] - Local and international contractors participated in a one day briefing with the Buckeye Partner's Large Capital Projects Group to review the 2011/2012 Tank Expansion Program for the Borco Terminal facility, on Grand Bahama, this past Tuesday.
The one day event started with; a safety briefing, a tour of the Borco terminal site, then a review of the expansion project plans followed by breakout sessions with the various technical disciplines.
At the end of the day the group participated in a general question and answer session. The event ended with a networking reception and dinner hosted by the Borco/Buckeye team.
The event was organized by BORCO resident, Raymond L. Jones, along with Buckeye’s vice president of Technical Services, Joe Sauger and the Borco Expansion Project-Program Manager- James Scandola.
According to Jones, the Expansion Program bodes well for The Bahamas, the Grand Bahama community and the networking between local and international contractors represents the commitment of our company to maintain a great working relationship with our contractors.
