Advario CEO Applauds Progress of Terminal Quimica Puerto Mexico Construction

April 12, 2024 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Bas Verkooijen, CEO of Advario, expressed his satisfaction this week as he announced the significant progress in the construction of the Terminal Quimica Puerto Mexico terminal in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. This ethane import terminal marks the latest addition to the Advario portfolio and is a collaborative effort with esteemed partner Braskem Idesa.

 

Verkooijen commended the TQPM team and approximately 1200 contractors for their dedication and hard work, which has resulted in the remarkable progress of the project. He particularly highlighted the achievement of surpassing 3 million lost time incident-free working hours, underscoring the commitment to safety and excellence upheld throughout the construction process.

The Terminal Quimica Puerto Mexico terminal holds strategic significance in enhancing Advario’s presence and capabilities in the region. As a joint venture with Braskem Idesa, the project embodies a synergy of expertise and resources aimed at meeting the growing demand for ethane importation.
