TransMontaigne Eyes Addition To Miss. Terminal and Extends Morgan Stanley Deal
05.07.2015 - NEWS

May 7, 2015 [OPIS] - TransMontaigne Partners LP has begun pursuing an expansion of its Collins, Miss., terminal that would include an additional 1 million bbl of storage, the Denver-based company said Wednesday.

In addition, TransMontaigne announced it had inked a new five-year terminaling services agreement with Morgan Stanley Capital Group for approximately 2.7 million bbl of product storage capacity at its Collins/Purvis, Miss., terminals. The new pact, which replaces an existing agreement for the tankage, goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2016.

The expansion would accommodate additional shippers on the Colonial and Plantation refined product pipelines, TransMontaigne Partners CEO Fred Boutin said in a statement. The company’s Collins facility can receive from and deliver to both of the pipelines as well as between the two pipeline carriers.
