Fluxys LNG Awards Contract for New Extension Zeebrugge LNG Terminal

April 7, 2015 [Fluxys Belgium N.V.] - Fluxys LNG, the owner and operator of the LNG terminal in Zeebrugge and wholly owned subsidiary of Fluxys Belgium, has awarded the turnkey contract for a new extension of the terminal to a consortium of Felguera-IHI, Duro Felguera, Duro Felguera Oil & Gas and Balzola.


The turnkey contract covers the construction of a fifth LNG storage tank as well as additional process installations and represents an amount of over 200 million euros. The new installations are part of the investments required to offer the LNG transshipment services for which Fluxys LNG signed in March a long-term agreement with Yamal LNG.
