Tank Storage Canada 2011 - The Opportunity to Network with Top Level Industry Experts
09.12.2011 - NEWS

September 12, 2011 [Tank Storage Events] - Tank Storage Canada will be held in Canada’s ‘energy province’, Alberta, on 3-4 October 2011.

As Canada is a large oil-producing country, storage and distribution infrastructure is vital in supporting the region’s growth. With Tank Storage Canada ideally located in downtown Calgary, and with some of the world’s largest companies exhibiting at the show, attending the event will give you the chance to network and listen to top level speakers.

Other countries, particularly those in Asia, are keen to set up higher trade levels with Canada, exploiting what it sees as a high growth market. In August, Chinese state-owned Sinochem voiced interest in investing into Canadian oil; and in September Macquarie Capital analyst Chris Feltin said he believes more and more foreign investment such as this is expected to come.

Canada’s oil market, although hit by the global recession, has not seen its foreign investment decline – in fact the opposite is true. Joint ventures, such as the PennWest and China SWF deal in May, indicate companies are still keen on exploring, producing and storing oil in the country.

At this year’s show, with exhibitors including Applus RTD, Carbis, Hayward Baker, HMT, Matrix, Rosen Inspection, OPW and the T F Warren Group, you really cannot afford to miss out on using Tank Storage Canada as a stepping-stone to take advantage of the growth in the region.

At the two day conference, terminal and pipeline operators, traders, analysts, regulators, renewable energy producers and technical experts will come together to discuss key topics impacting the sector. These topics include infrastructure developments, market trends, new API standards, biofuels integration, changes in trade flows, terminal acquisitions, risk reduction and safety technology.  With speakers from  Osprey Capital Partners, Wood Mackenzie, TransCanada Pipelines, Calgary Economic Development, PEMY Consulting, Environment Canada, Aon Reed Stenhouse, RAE Engineering & Inspection, Nilex, Emerson and Allerion Oilfield Services, missing out on Tank Storage Canada 2011 is not an option!

Delegate and visitor tickets are still available for Tank Storage Canada expo & conference 3-4 October at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, Calgary, Alberta.  Visit our event website (http://www.tankstorageevents.com/tscanada) for more information and registration forms – we recommend registering before the event to reduce the time spent queuing for registration and more time networking!
