Cushing Net Oil Storage Capacity up 5.1 pct Sept to March, EIA Report Says

June 1, 2011 [Reuters] - The amount of net oil storage capacity available in Cushing, Oklahoma increased from 55.067 million barrels at the end of last September to 57.859 million barrels at the end of March 2011, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said on Tuesday.


The amount of net oil storage capacity available in Cushing, Oklahoma increased from 55.067 million barrels at the end of last September to 57.859 million barrels at the end of March 2011, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said on Tuesday.

The 5.1 percent increase in Cushing storage capacity was included in the EIA’s report on U.S. storage capacity for crude oil, petroleum products and certain biofuels that is released twice a year.
