DPF is a petroleum products storage and distribution facility for such refineries as Total La Mede, Ineos Lavera, Esso Fos and Lyondell Basell Berre.
KazMunayGas “(hereinafter – KMG) controls 9.67% stake in DPF (Dépôt Pétrolier de Fos) in France, through its foreign subsidiary Dyneff (100% subsidiary of The Rompetrol Group NV).
The total storage capacity of the terminal located in southern France (near Marseille) is 780,000 m³.
Annual volume of transhipment by sea, pipeline and tankers reaches about 8 Mm³.
Currently, the storage capacity at DPF owned by Dyneff, is 83,234 m³.
As a result of expansion at the terminal that took place during 2009 -2010, the tank capacity has been increased with additional 80,000 m³ to total 860,000 m³.
DPF increased the capacity at its own expense. In turn, KMG through its subsidiary Dyneff managed to increase its capacity at the terminal by 10,000 m³.
Completion of modernization of DPF, as one of the strategically important terminals of KMG in France, will allow KMG through its subsidiary Dyneff to strengthen its position in logistics infrastructure in Europe.
