July 18, 2026 [The Globe & Mail]- Peers like ConocoPhillips (Port Arthur LNG, Equatorial Guinea) and Venture Global (68 mtpa potential) are similarly leveraging LNG for free cash flow growth.

 

Golden Pass LNG (JV with QatarEnergy) started production from Train 1, with first exports in Q2 2026; full three-train capacity expected to boost U.S. LNG exports by ~15%.
 
Additional projects advancing in Papua New Guinea and Mozambique will diversify supply sources and strengthen XOM’s global LNG network.
 
Rising global LNG demand from energy security needs and data center power requirements positions these assets for sustained higher cash flows.
 
Peers like ConocoPhillips (Port Arthur LNG, Equatorial Guinea) and Venture Global (68 mtpa potential) are similarly leveraging LNG for free cash flow growth amid coal replacement and lower-emission shifts.
