June 29, 2026 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Chiyoda Corporation has signed an Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) with Shell Global Solutions International B.V. to provide engineering and procurement services in support of potential future projects worldwide.

The agreement establishes a flexible framework designed to provide Shell with timely access to Chiyoda’s engineering and procurement capabilities as project opportunities arise. By enabling faster mobilisation of resources and closer integration between the two companies, the framework aims to improve project execution, enhance cost and schedule certainty, and increase overall delivery predictability.

The new agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between Chiyoda and Shell that spans more than five decades. During this time, the companies have collaborated on a range of major energy projects around the world, developing a strong partnership founded on technical expertise and project delivery experience.

Drawing on its extensive experience in executing complex energy infrastructure projects, Chiyoda will support Shell in responding more efficiently to changing market conditions and evolving project requirements. The framework is expected to streamline engineering and procurement activities while supporting the successful delivery of future developments across Shell’s global portfolio.

The agreement aligns with Chiyoda’s broader strategy of working collaboratively with customers from the earliest stages of project development. Through this approach, the company aims to create long-term value while contributing to the development of more sustainable energy solutions.

The signing of the Enterprise Framework Agreement further strengthens the strategic relationship between Chiyoda and Shell and reinforces their shared commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and innovative engineering solutions for the global energy industry.
