AKR to operate biggest private fuel terminal

February 4, 2010 [The Jakarta Post] - Private fuel distributor PT Aneka Kimia Raya Corporindo (AKR) will operate a new fuel terminal with a total capacity of 250,000 kilo liters of fuel in Tanjung Priok port next month.

“This will be the biggest private fuel terminal [in Indonesia],” AKR president Haryanto Adikoesoemo told lawmakers from the House Commission VII overseeing energy and mineral resources on Monday.
The terminal will have a total storage capacity of 250,000 kilo liters of fuels and will be further expanded to 400,000 kilo liters in the near future, he added.
AKR, listed at the Indonesian Stock Exchange, is 70.82 percent controlled by PT Arthakencana Rayatama, and the remaining 29.80 belongs to the public.
