Zenith Antwerp Project Off the Table
10.02.2017 - NEWS

October 02, 2017 [Gazet van Antwerpen/TankTerminals.com] - According to the Gazet van Antwerpen, Zenith Energy, the American specialist in bulk liquid storage, will not build a new tank terminal at the Churchill Dock in the port of Antwerp.

It was announced at the end of last year, that Zenith had the intention to invest € 250 million in the port.

Originally Zenith was interested in a concession at the Delwaide Dock but that opportunity was attained by Sea-Invest. For Zenith an alternative location was found at the Churchill Dock.

After months of discussions, Zenith decided to discontinue the transaction. “We evaluated a possible opportunity in Antwerp, but for a number of reasons this project will not be pursued any further”, a spokesman said. No further background was provided.
