November 12, 2018 [Hydrocarbon Engineering] - Vopak has announced two expansions to its terminal services.

Vopak and its partner Reatile will further expand their activities in South Africa by investing in a new LPG import and distribution terminal with an initial capacity of 15 000 m3 in Richards Bay, subject to final conditions.

Vopak has also announced that it will expand its wholly-owned gas terminal in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, by 9200 m3 of capacity for LPG and chemical gases to serve the northwest Europe market. The additional storage capacity is also expected to be commissioned in 2Q20.
