September 23, 2019 [Tank News International] – Vopak has completed Phase 1 of the expansion of its Veracruz Terminal in Mexico. The terminal’s expansion officially began operations in early September with the launch of new fillers, 200 auto-tanks operating daily 24 hours a day.

It said that in conjunction with its customer, it now supports the commercialisation of diesel and gasoline in the Mexican market, which will allow the supplying, especially the states of Veracruz, Puebla and in some cases also Mexico City, with imported fuel and diesel.

On February 13, 2019, Vopak announced that it will expand its terminal in Veracruz in Mexico with 110,000 cbm for the storage and handling of clean petroleum products. Mexico is a deficit market which has opened, it stated. The expansion is expected to be fully commissioned in Q4 2020

Congratulations to our colleagues at our Veracruz terminal in Mexico!,” the company stated.
