September 01, 2025 [Fuel Cells Works]- The company also has solar projects in the pipeline for around 90 megabytes of installed capacity

Viridi RE continues with the development and construction of strategic projects in 2025 and aims at the implementation of infrastructure that allows the use of renewable energies in the regions where it has a presence.

By 2025, the company projects a 42% growth in the development of its pipeline, driven by projects such as AkuaippaHy with which the construction of a green hydrogen and green methanol plant in La Guajira is projected, in addition to other solar projects for around 90MW that would be ready to build this year.

These figures give continuity to the results of 2024 with which the company achieved a growth of 88%, with a turnover of around US$3 million for the conceptualization, development and sale of large-scale electricity generation projects with renewable sources.

In addition, it signed agreements with the possibility of selling two projects for around US$2.3 million, which are under development and are expected to be ready for sale this year.

This year, it aims to sign agreements for US$12 million and obtain environmental licenses for four large-scale projects, with investments of around US$5 million, a fundamental step to advance in the development of projects that promote the energy transition.

“This will be the year for the conceptualization and pre-feasibility of the Akuaippah green hydrogen project. The company will work in collaboration with the communities of La Guajira,” said Carolina Obando, country manager of Viridi RE.
