Verwater to Build MiDEx Greenfield at Vopak Europoort Terminal, Rotterdam

April 17, 2012 [Verwater] - Verwater is awarded with the EPC contract for the expansion of the Vopak Terminal Europoort (VTE). To store Jet Fuel A1, 8 tanks with a total capacity of 400.000 m3, will be constructed in the new tank pit 16. Besides the construction of the tanks, a complete pump station, civil, mechanical, piping and E&I works are part of the scope for the MiDEx Greenfield project.


Verwater has already started the engineering and aims to complete the construction of the project in February 2014. The Vopak MiDEx project  brings Verwater closer to its goal to become the best global EPC & M tank terminal contractor.
