Verwater-Audex to Build Additional 465,000 m³ for Euro Tank Terminal in Rotterdam

March 9, 2010 [TankTerminals.com] - Audex' mothercompany, PEC Ltd, Singapore, has announced that its 50% joint venture Verwater-Audux B.V., the Netherlands, has secured a contract worth € 118 million to build 465,000 m³ new tank capacity in Rotterdam.


Verwater-Audex will provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to build the tank terminal for Euro Tank Terminal B.V. (ETT). The project is slated for completion by 2012. ETT is wholly-owned by Vitol Tank Terminal International (VTTI). VTTI is a wholly-owned affiliate of the Vitol Group. ETT Rotterdam currently operates a 16-tank 642,000 m³ tank terminal in the Europoort section of the port of Rotterdam.
