Ukrainian Drones Hit St Petersburg Oil Terminal
06.04.2026 By Tank Terminals - NEWS

June 04, 2026 [Tank Storage Magazine]- Reuters has reported that Alexander Belgov, governor of St Petersburg, Russia, states Ukrainian drones have hit an oil terminal in St Petersburg and a dry-docked warship at a nearby naval base hours before the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to the governor, unspecified ‘infrastructure objects’ had been attacked, with governor of Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, claiming Russian air defenses shot down 59 Ukrainian drones overnight. Volodymyr Zelenskiy, president of Ukraine, confirmed striking the fuel terminal, adding the country also targeted a military facility in Kronstadt; a location housing Russia’s Baltic Fleet and major shipbuilding and repairs facilities.

‘Several facilities have been damaged. Clean-up operations are currently underway. Several people have been injured. There have been no fatalities,’ states Beglov.
