07.04.2018 - NEWS

July 4, 2018 [Tank News International] - Tradebe has announced the successful acquisition of Avanti Environmental Group from Stericycle Inc. This marks the second significant acquisition of 2018 for the UK based hazardous waste disposal group, and is part of the company’s strategic growth plans which are focused on strengthening the position of Tradebe in the UK hazardous waste market.

The company previously acquired Labwaste earlier this year in January, one of the UK’s leading specialists in the collection, treatment and disposal of laboratory waste.

Tradebe UK Chief Executive Officer, Rob Molenaar, said: “The combination of Tradebe, Labwaste and Avanti will provide for a strong platform capable of servicing and meeting the changing demands of our customers.
The companies are aligned in terms of service operations, capabilities and geographical reach. This partnership will bring together some of the most technically minded, innovative people in the UK’s waste industry.

The companies have a strong sustainability culture, customer service and health and safety ethos; together we will continue to drive high standards throughout the industry. We also very much welcome the Avanti team to the Tradebe organisation and look forward to the continued success of the combined organisation.
