DUBAI — Topaz Energy and Marine Ltd announced that through its subsidiary Nico International it has commissioned a Dh90 million oil and storage terminal for FAL Energy, marking a milestone achievement to its projects.

DUBAI — Topaz Energy and Marine Ltd announced that through its subsidiary Nico International it has commissioned a Dh90 million oil and storage terminal for FAL Energy, marking a milestone achievement to its projects.
One of the key highlights of the achievement is that, the construction of the 60,000 cubic metres capacity storage facility clocked in excess of 1 million man-hours without loss time injury.
“The project which was awarded in 2007, has been completed in the most optimal time schedule and meeting the highest quality standards.”
“The success of the project is a milestone achievement, thus making us one of the major storage terminal contracting companies in the region,” said Fazel Fazelbhoy. Topaz Energy and Marine CEO.
The project involved the fabrication and construction of eight storage tanks and their related interconnecting piping, above and under ground jetty piping. It also included the supply of all project equipment, marine and truck loading arms, electrical/mechanical works, civil and structural works, fire protection and installation.
