March 5, 2012 [Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd.] - Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd and Petrovietnam Gas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) for cooperation on the development of the LNG value chain in Vietnam.

Vietnam, which has been exhibiting strong economic growth, is expected to begin importing LNG in 2015. It is participating in LNG and natural gas infrastructure work in developing countries in which remarkable growth is expected, as well as countries in which Japanese companies have a strong presence.
