TNO Starts Investigation Into Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam
04.03.2012 - NEWS

April 3, 2012 [NOS Nieuws] - Odfjell took the initiative to hire the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) for the safety investigation of Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam (OTR).

The company is under close scrutiny of the Inspectorate of Social Affairs after a number of offenses. Odfjell held back information regarding the release more than 200 tonnes of butane gas last year.

The research program is more focused on the safety of personnel and the management of work processes. The recent incidents are examined to verify what exactly went wrong.

The TNO study should be ready this summer.
