June 10, 2026 [Renewables Now]- The deals were awarded by Fuella AS, a Norway-based company backed by Allianz Capital Partners. The German firm said on Tuesday that its task will be optimise the technical concept, progress key engineering activities and mature the business case for the two projects.
The two facilities are planned to be installed in the Port of Pecem and the Port of Acu, respectively. Each of them will be capable of producing 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year, using solely renewable electricity.
Thyssenkrupp Uhde will deliver integration engineering for both facilities, including electrolysis systems, balance of plant and ammonia offloading infrastructure.
The projects are Fuella’s first investment in the Brazilian market. Established in 2020, the hydrogen platform is mostly active in Europe.
