Throughput of Port Ust-Luga up 17% to 49,872,100 t in 7M’15

August 21, 2015 [PortNews IAA] - In January-July 2015, the port of Ust-Luga handled 49,872,100 t of cargo (+17%, year-on-year), says press center of Baltic Sea Ports Administration.


In the reported period transshipment of dry bulk cargo increased by 14% to 13,906,000 t including 12,045,100 t of coal and coke (+12). Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo climbed by 18% to 33,742,700 t including 15,400,800 t of crude (+16%), 17,565,400 t of oil products (+20%) and 776,500 t of liquefied gas (+17%). Transshipment of cargoes carried by ferries totaled 1,170,900 t (+30%). The port’s container throughput made 48,493 TEUs, or 441,600 t (-11%).
