The Tashir Group of Companies Plans to Develop Oil Transshipment Terminal in Yaroslavl

December 18, 2012 [RIA News] - The Tashir Group of Companies acquired an oil transshipment terminal  in Yaroslavl and has plans to further develop the facility in 2013, Vice-President of the company Vitaly Efimkin said at a press conference on Monday.

He clarified that it is the largest oil transshipment terminal in the Volga area, covering 100 hectares of land and offering storage capacity of 310,000 cubic meters.

“Initially, we considered it only as a real estate development asset in the city center, but then we realized that it would be better to use the terminal as transshipment facility. The payback period of the investment would be 1 year”, – said Efimkin.

He did not specify the investment level, but noted that the projected revenue may reach 1.5 billion Rubles per year if the terminals’ throughput would be 4 million tons of petroleum products per year.
