The Future Modernisation Plans of Tank Terminals in Europe, Asia and Africa

May 7, 2017 [TankTerminals.com & Vostock] - The analytical team of Vostock Capital has prepared a report on future modernisation plans of the terminals from Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, France, Latvia, India, Ghana.


This report is associated with construction, expansion or modernisation works of the participants of the 5th annual programme “Oil terminal management. Logistics for traders”, 7-9 June, the Netherlands.

In a special session with investors there will be presented future modernisation plans of Oteko, Ventall Terminal, Raj Petro Specialities, Tes-Terminal, Port La Nouvelle and many others.

To mention a few:

  • Botlek Tank Terminal, the Netherlands: Phase-II expansion works – expanding its current capacity from 200,000 to 750,000 cubic metres, construction of new fourteen storage tanks and three quays for inland vessels;
  • Vesta Terminals, the Netherlands, Belgium, Estonia: Potential expansion total for up to 830,000 cubic metres. Construction of 56 new tanks at all three terminals and 2 quays at Vesta Terminal Flushing;
  • Chennai port trust, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India: 16 tanks with an overall capacity of 50000 MT will be installed by 2018 for storing various grades of base oils for captive consumption for manali plant.
