The CLH Group Will Invest Approximately €8m in the Renewal of its IT Systems and Processes

October 7, 2019 [Tank News International] – The CLH Group will invest approximately €8m in the renewal of its main IT systems and processes, with the purpose of standardising and streamlining procedures across all companies belonging to the group to improve efficiency.

Under the name ‘ONE’, the project will affect CLH and CLH Aviación, and also the group’s international companies located in the United Kingdom, Ireland and, soon, Mexico.

The technological renewal envisages the implementation of the same software across all companies in order to create a simpler and more uniform working methodology that facilitates cooperation and process automation, thus reducing by 60 per cent the number of computer applications used.

The ONE project also envisages the streamlining of the main corporate processes relating to Financial Management (Accounting, Management Control, Cash and Billing), Purchasing (Operations and Strategy) and Human Resources aimed at removing any unnecessary steps and optimising management.

The initiative will have advantages such as administrative task optimisation, by using robot programmes, or the storage of the main company data in a single platform. The new system also improves data analysis with real-time data query, thus facilitating the decision-making process.

The company is also finalising the definition of a unique functioning model for the whole group, taking into account the specific features of each country in legal, accounting and tax matters, in addition to establishing new roles aimed at clearly defining the competences of each company in the main management areas and improving coordination within the group.
