Stolthaven Terminals Confirms Joint Venture in Taiwan
06.20.2022 By Ricardo Perez - NEWS

June 20, 2022 [Stolt-Nielsen] – Stolthaven Terminals and Revivegen Environmental Technology Co. LTD have formally entered into a JVC to develop a new greenfield terminal in Kaohsiung Port, Taiwan, after signing a letter of intent in September last year.

Taiwanese company Revivegen is mainly focused on recycling and process chemicals for the semiconductor industry, but when space became available at the new port, it seized the opportunity to secure an 11-hectare plot of land and asked Stolthaven to partner with them in developing it.

The two companies have completed a comprehensive feasibility study and are working towards a final investment decision, expected over the summer.

The partnership perfectly positions Stolthaven Terminals to respond to growing customer demand for high-quality bulk liquid storage in the region, says President Guy Bessant: “A terminal in Taiwan would be complimentary to our existing global network and increase the reach of the supply chain solutions that we are able to offer our customers.

“It will focus on the safe and efficient handling and storage of chemicals and industrial gases for local and multinational companies, including those with manufacturing operations in Taiwan.”
