June 30, 2023 [Stolt Nielsen]- Stolthaven Terminals’ facility in Santos, Brazil, has won the DowGOL ‘Best Terminal in Brazil’ Award for the second year in a row. It is one of two storage terminals to receive the award this year.

The 2023 award recognises outstanding performance in safety and responsible care, operational excellence, customer experience, digital visibility and data security, environmental and social responsibility and governance.

Stolthaven Santos’ consistently high standards of personal safety and product integrity were key factors in its selection for the award, as was its ongoing investment in operational efficiency and automation which has, for example, reduced average truck loading/unloading times by more than 25 minutes.

Marcelo Schmitt, General Manager of Stolthaven Terminals Brazil, said: “This is wonderful recognition from our valued customer. I want to thank our entire team in Santos – everyone works so hard to deliver consistently great all-round service to Dow every day.

“I also want to acknowledge all the support we receive from our colleagues in the Netherlands and in our sister companies, Stolt Tankers and Stolt Tank Containers. Their expertise and collaboration help us deliver this award-winning service to our customers and maintain our reputation as a leading storage provider in Brazil.”

Stolthaven Santos also won a DowGOL ‘Best terminal in Brazil’ award in 2022. And Stolthaven Terminals’ Moerdijk facility in the Netherlands recently won a silver Dow 4STAR award for its strong performance in safety, service, social responsibility and sustainability.
