March 17, 2026 [Stolt-Nielsen]- The Stolthaven Revivegen Kaohsiung Terminal (SHRVK) in Taiwan has commenced operations, offering world-class bulk liquid logistics services from a prime location at the heart of Asia-Pacific’s maritime trade routes.

Strategically located along a major global shipping route, SHRVK connects Asia-Pacific with international markets and serves as a key import, export and transshipment hub for bulk liquid chemicals and specialty products. Its close proximity to the container port also enables efficient distribution of packaged products, including ISO tanks and drums, facilitating easy shipment throughout Asia.

As Kaohsiung’s only independent third-party liquid terminal, SHRVK offers producers, distributors and traders flexible storage and logistics services supported by advanced infrastructure and digital operations.

A modern terminal designed for flexibility

The first phase of the terminal provides 61,200 m³ of storage capacity in state-of-the-art carbon steel and stainless-steel tanks. The facility also includes multiple truck loading bays, ISO-tank and tank truck handling capabilities, and integrated drumming and smart filling services designed to meet the needs of Taiwan’s chemical industry and re-distribution into the region. Additional land is available for future expansion, including the development of purpose-built tanks for gases or liquids should customers require dedicated storage solutions.

Customers can benefit from a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Bulk liquid storage
  • Import, export and transshipment support
  • ISO-tank and tank truck loading and unloading
  • Drumming and smart filling solutions
  • Chemical and hazardous warehouse leasing (bonded and non-bonded)

These capabilities make SHRVK an integral part of Taiwan’s chemical supply chain while offering international customers a reliable gateway to regional markets.

Built for future energy and chemical markets

SHRVK was developed with a strong focus on innovation, digitalisation and sustainability. The terminal is designed to safely handle a wide range of products, including low carbon feedstock, green methanol and bio-bunker fuels, supporting the transition to more sustainable energy, industrial usage and marine fuel solutions.

Advanced automation and digital systems enhance operational precision, safety and efficiency, ensuring high service standards for customers operating in increasingly complex global supply chains.

Supporting evolving trade flows

Guy Bessant, President, Stolthaven Terminals, said: “Global chemical markets continue to experience shifts in production, supply availability, and trade patterns. With new storage capacity and integrated logistics solutions, SHRVK is well positioned to support customers as they adapt to these changes and seek reliable infrastructure to maintain supply continuity.

Together with the global network of Stolt Tankers, Stolthaven Terminals and Stolt Tank Containers, SHRVK provides seamless connections between ocean transport, storage, and inland distribution. This is made possible through strong collaboration with our partners and the dedication of our teams on the ground.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved for their commitment and teamwork in making this possible.”
