May 27, 2014 [Tradebe Port Service SL] - After Tradebe started up its 450,000 cbm terminal in Barcelona in April 2013, it recently signed a JV with existing terminal operator Aguarda Investment Company S.A., to expand its facility in Manzanillo port, Dominican Republic.

The expansion will be 150,000 cbm as phase 1, with access to a 15 meter draft berth, suitable for fuel oil and distillate products. Rationale of the terminal will be to supply the Dominican Republic market as well as offering flexibility to supply the Caribbean region.

Expansion expected to be operational Q4 2015. Tradebe is currently marketing the remaining capacity that is still available.
