December 20, 2017 [Oil Review Africa] - The Angolan National Oil Company (Sonangol) has announced to increase its stocking capacity in Cabinda from 15,300 cu/m of gas and diesel to 40,000 cu/m by 2018.

João Salvador, member of the executive committee of Sonangol Logistics, gave the assurance during the visit that to Cabinda.

Commenting about the decision to increase fuel storage capacity, Mauro Graça, CEO of Sonagas, acknowledged that the supply of cooking gas in Cabinda has posed concern because of the degradation of distribution facilities aggravated by several operational safety problems.

Sonangol said that there was some delays in the discharge of fuels in national ports last week, due to minor constraints in payments to external suppliers. However, the administration of Sonangol EP has mitigated the situation and fuel discharging process continued in the ports of Luanda, Cabinda and Lobito.
