Romania's Oil Terminal Signs Services Deal with Oscar Downstream

January 15, 2018 [SeeNews] - Romanian cargo handling company Oil Terminal said on Friday it has signed a deal estimated at 24.0 million lei ($8.6 million/7.5 million euro) with local diesel fuel distributor Oscar Downstream for services to be provided by the terminal in 2018.


Under the contract, Oil Terminal will handle the discharging of fuel from maritime vessels into shoretanks, its storage,
conditioning with biodiesel and loading, the company said in a bourse filing.

Oil Terminal also announced it has signed two smaller deals for the provision of services to Romanian chemical company Oltchim, worth a combined 1.9 million lei.

Oscar Downstream, which employs 411 people in Romania, posted a turnover of 381 million euro in 2016.

Oil Terminal operates a petroleum terminal with seven operational jetties, which is connected to the company’s three storage facilities through a 15 km pipelines network.
